WHY: |
Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) launched an initiative to help fragile schools. All third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade students at 11 targeted elementary schools will receive a computer device and free Internet access to use at their homes as part of the Jumpstart CONNECT@HOME project. Students will use the device to practice their reading and math skills at home through “My On Readers” and “Reflex Math”, as well as other educational software accessible through the student portal. |
