The Miami-Dade County School Board has forged a unique partnership with Codina Partners and the City of Doral to build a “from the ground up” District-managed charter school. This is the first school in the county and the state, and likely in the nation, where a school district, a private developer and a municipality were able to craft a very special win-win partnership.

Downtown Doral Charter Elementary School, which is slated to open in 2015, will accommodate over 800 Pre-K through fifth grade children and serve mostly the residential area known as Downtown Doral.
