TWO MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO REPRESENT FLORIDA AT ODYSSEY OF THE MIND WORLD FINALS

Two teams from Miami-Dade County Public Schools recently placed first in their divisions at the Odyssey of the Mind State Finals in Orlando. They earned the right to represent Florida on an international level as they advanced to the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals Competition.

The teams from Howard Drive Elementary School and Palmetto Middle School will travel to World Finals at Iowa State University from May 28-31.

Odyssey of the Mind is the world's largest international educational problem-solving competition for students. Teams from throughout the U.S. and more than 25 countries participate in the program.  Odyssey fosters creative-thinking skills in students through problem-solving activities.
