The 36th Annual Community Partners Recognition Awards recognizes exemplary Dade Partners and outstanding school volunteers for their contributions and service to Miami-Dade’s public schools and its students.

This year, the 2014 Superintendent’s Choice Awards will be presented to Kids and the Power of Work (KAPOW), under the direction of John Casbarro, Learning for Success, Inc., a districtwide program introducing elementary school students to work-related concepts and experiences; and Matthew Forman of the Himan Brown Charitable Trust for providing out-of-school enrichment to students and families in the Liberty City and Homestead/Florida City areas.
