CORAL GABLES SENIOR HIGH TO HOST HEALTH FAIR Coral Gables Senior High, in collaboration with the Coral Gables Senior Adult Center, will host its Bi-National Health Fair on October 11, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free event is open to the public and will take place on the Gables High campus located at 450 Bird Road. Exhibitors will provide health services, physical activity training, and educational materials on various health issues affecting our community. Free services will include dental, HIV/STD, glucose, and cholesterol screenings, as well as testing for blood pressure and Body Mass Index (BMI.) The educational portion of the event will provide information regarding women’s health, various financial services, and advice to individuals without health insurance. In addition, information will be available regarding immigration, adult education classes, and nutrition, as well as free eye exams and glasses for children.
