LOEWS MIAMI BEACH CELEBRITY GOLF TOURNAMENT BENEFITING THE FOUNDATION FOR NEW EDUCATION INITIATIVES, INC., FRIDAY, NOV. 7 The Loews Miami Beach Celebrity Golf Tournament benefiting DonorsChoose.org and The Foundation for New Education Initiatives, Inc., a direct-support organization of Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS), is scheduled to take place on Friday, November 7, 2014, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., tee-off is at 8:30 a.m., at the Miami Beach Golf Club, located at 2301 Alton Road in Miami Beach. Tournament participants will be paired with some of the greatest names in sports, from athletes and coaches to on-air commentators. Participating celebrity golfers include Marcus Allen, Shane Battier, Julius Erving, Joey Fatone, Alonzo Mourning, Ahmad Rashad, Jason Taylor, and many others. Tournament proceeds will be utilized to enhance student achievement through teacher mini-grants.
