HOWARD DRIVE ELEMENTARY NAMED Howard Drive Elementary School recently placed first at the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals Competition at Iowa State University. The championship team includes Alex Eum, Matthew Lamas, Andres Laventman, Leah Melendez, Kennedy Todd, Lorenzo Vinueza and Sofia Vinueza. They vied against 61 other teams to win Division 1. Odyssey of the Mind is the world's largest international educational problem-solving competition for students. Teams from throughout the U.S. and more than 25 countries participate in the program.
