SOME 24K M-DCPS TEACHERS PARTICIPATE IN FIRST EVER DISTRICT-WIDE
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY

More than 24,000 Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) teachers and administrators participated in 489 sessions of the District’s first of two professional development days, taking place at all schools, to enhance instructional practices that support Florida Standards and the unique and innovative programs offered in M-DCPS.

The Office of Academics and Transformation offered an array of professional development opportunities in a variety of topics covering all subjects from art, literacy, writing and adult education to S.T.E.M., history and special education.
