M-DCPS RECEIVES GRANT FROM VERIZON TO HELP STUDENTS
LEARN NEW WAYS TO USE S.T.E.M.

 

Miami Jackson High School students will learn new ways to use S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering, math) curriculum in agriculture and food production with the help of a $20,000 grant from Verizon. Jackson is one of 80 schools in the nation to win funds from the $1.6 million Verizon Innovate Learning grant program targeting schools underserved in S.T.E.M. resources.
