MIAMI-DADE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD RENAMES SCHOOLS
The Miami-Dade County School Board tackled many different issues during its regular monthly meeting this past Wednesday. One of the issues was the renaming of adult education centers as technical colleges.
Schools Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho proposed the item, and it will help identify these schools as centers of higher learning due to their offerings of vocational careers and training.
The centers and their new names are as follows:
