WHY:

The four U.S. Naval Academy midshipmen are graduates of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. They are scheduled to speak to Career and Technical Education students at six high schools to encourage enrollment in STEM-related courses.

The alumni, majoring in the STEM subject areas of Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, and Physics will cover the technical aspects of various STEM-related careers, and the importance of becoming knowledgeable in science and mathematics, as well as understanding the technical skills required of high-demand, high-wage STEM jobs.
