MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS ANNOUNCES THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE AFTERSCHOOL MEALS PROGRAM

Miami-Dade County Public Schools announces the implementation of the Afterschool Meals Program, a sub-component of the Child Care Program under the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The program is designed primarily to provide nutritious snacks and meals to children in afterschool programs throughout the school district. Starting on Monday, January 12, 2015, snacks and Snacks Plus are available at no charge to the children enrolled in the City of Hialeah After School Care Program at the following two sites: Hialeah Educational Academy located at 2590 West 76 Street and Palm Springs Middle School located at 1025 West 56 Street. Both school sites are in Hialeah, Florida. For specific details, please contact the schools directly.
