National Groundhog Job Shadow Day supports learning taking place beyond the four walls of a classroom and provides students with the opportunity to see the connection between academics and the demands of the workforce.
This event is part of the District’s partnership and involvement in the One Community One Goal Targeted Industry Implementation Plan to encourage business engagement in education and build students’ career readiness. Students who enrolled in career-themed academies, include Engineering, Hospitality and Tourism, Finance, Information Technology and Health Sciences, are preparing for summer internships.
