M-DCPS ADMINISTRATOR RECEIVES HIGHEST GRADUATION HONOR FROM
PRESTIGIOUS COUNCIL OF GREAT CITY SCHOOLS

Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Chief Budget Officer Ron Steiger recently graduated with the highest standards from the Council of Great City Schools’ Urban School Executives Program. He participated in the program during the entire 2014 calendar year. Only two of the ten participants in the program successfully graduated with the Council’s certificate. Mr. Steiger possessed the attributes necessary to assume a senior executive position capable of addressing the challenges facing large urban school districts.
