MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS RECEIVES 2015 BEST COMMUNITIES FOR MUSIC EDUCATION DESIGNATION Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) has been honored by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation having been chosen as a recipient of the 2015 Best Communities for Music Education Designation. This designation is given to school districts in the nation that have excelled in providing school-based music education programs to young people in the community. Founded in 2006, The NAMM Foundation’s mission is to advance active participation in music-making across the lifespan by supporting scientific research, philanthropic giving and public service programs. The Foundation represents the generosity and philanthropy of the music products industry.
