South Hialeah Elementary Community School, 265 E. 5 St., Hialeah, wIll celebrate its 75th anniversary Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 8:45 a.m. Guest speakers include U.S. State Department Deputy Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs Lula Rodriguez, Hialeah Mayor Raul L. Martinez, Miami-Dade County Public Schools Superintendent Roger C. Cuevas, and School Board Member Demetrio Perez, Jr., M.S. The program also will include performances by the Miami Springs High School Jazz Band and Signing Hawks.
