Services for parents will be highlighted during the fifth annual
Title I Community Awareness Days being held tomorrow (Jan. 22) and
Saturday.
During those days representatives from Miami-Dade County public
schools implementing the Title I program visit churches, businesses,
and community organizations to discuss the program and how it can
help parents of children attending those schools.
The event is one of the activities of the Title I District Advisory
Council, which will recognize participants and sponsoring
organizations and businesses during its meeting at 7 p.m. on February
18 at Booker T. Washington Middle School, 1200 N.W. 6 Avenue.
