Miami-Dade County Public Schools will hold a forum on violence
prevention at 3:30 p.m., Friday, June 11, at Miami Carol City Senior
High School, 3422 N.W. 187 Street, Opa-locka.
The forum will bring together the community's foremost experts to
discuss issues relating to violence and its ramifications. One focus
will be to develop preventive and reactive strategies to reduce the
likelihood of violence on school campuses. Experts in healthcare and
child welfare have been asked to contribute possible holistic
strategies for nurturing a safe learning environment.
The public is invited. Those wishing to attend are asked to R.S.V.P.
