Miami-Dade County Public Schools' Heavy Duty Truck & Bus/Diesel
Engine Mechanics Advisory Committee and its local industry partners
will celebrate the donation of valuable state-of-the-art equipment
and instructional materials to vocational education mechanics
laboratories at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept., 14 at Kelly Tractor
Company, 8255 N. W. 58th Street, Miami.
The donation, valued at nearly $50,000, culminates a collaboration
between Kelly Tractor Company; Caterpillar, Inc.; Ryder System, Inc.;
Pantropic Power; and McArthur Dairy. It includes Caterpillar HEUI
engines and accompanying CD training packages, software and lesson
plans.
