Miami-Dade County School Board Member Betsy H. Kaplan will be
included in the 2000-2001 edition of Who's Who of American Women.
Kaplan, who represents District 9 schools, is a retired Miami-Dade
school teacher. She has served on the Board since 1988 and is known
as a champion of bilingual education and arts programs in
schools.
