Superintendent of Schools Roger C. Cuevas will join Miami-Dade Mayor
Alex Penelas on a panel to address the U.S. Census Monitoring Board
at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in the Miami-Dade Public Library,
101 West Flagler Street.
The Census Monitoring Board is holding the community forum to hear
discussion on how the 1990 census undercounted about 74,000
residents, or five percent of the county's population. The Board is
seeking ways to achieve a fair and accurate census in 2000.
