Dr. Robert B. Ingram, member of the Miami-Dade County School Board and chair of the Florida Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Institute for Non-Violence, recently addressed two groups.

Dr. Ingram was a guest speaker at the Second Annual Multicultural Education Conference in Dania. The conference theme was “Multicultural Education: A Cornerstone for Curriculum and Understanding.”

Dr. Ingram also participated in a panel discussion for the benefit of juvenile offenders at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. A former Miami police officer and Opa-locka police chief, Dr. Ingram spoke on the topic of “Going Home with a Purpose.”
