CORVETTE CARAVAN BRINGS HOLIDAY CHEER TO MENTALLY HANDICAPPED STUDENTS

The Sunshine Corvette Club will make its yearly delivery of holiday gifts on Wednesday, Dec. 17, to 116 profoundly mentally handicapped students at Neva King Cooper Exceptional Education Center, 151 NW Fifth St., Homestead.

Led by a police escort, the parade of 10-15 vintage cars will arrive at the school by 9 a.m. A gift giveaway featuring Santa, the Miami Heat Dancers, Sebastian the Ibis from the University of Miami, and the Kendale Lakes Elementary Elves, will start at 9:30 a.m.
