SEVEN MIAMI-DADE PUBLIC SCHOOLS HONORED BY GOV. BUSH FOR MATH, READING ACHIEVEMENTS

Seven Miami-Dade County public schools were honored for their outstanding work in math and reading by Gov. Bush at the Capitol today. They are:

  • Charles Hadley Elementary School

  • Coral Park Elementary School

  • Dante B. Fascell Elementary School

  • Flamingo Elementary School

  • Ludlam Elementary School

  • Village Green Elementary School

  • Wesley Matthews Elementary School


The schools were identified by the Florida School Report's Best Practices study as having made significant accomplishments in math and reading despite high levels of poverty and limited English proficiency among students.
