KROP, INGRAM RE-ELECTED TO LEAD MIAMI-DADE SCHOOL BOARD

Twenty-three-year Miami-Dade School Board veteran Michael M. Krop was re-elected today to chair the Board in the coming year.

First elected to the Board in 1980, the representative from District 3 has served as chair three times before.

Five-year veteran Robert B. Ingram, first elected in 1998, was re-elected as vice-chair, also for a one-year term. The former Opa-locka mayor represents District 1.
