GOV. BUSH TO HONOR LILLIE C. EVANS ELEMENTARY FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

Gov. Jeb Bush is scheduled to honor Lillie C. Evans Elementary School for outstanding academic achievement on Friday, Sept. 5, from 12:40 - 1:10 p.m. The school is located at 1895 N.W. 75 St.

During the last year, the school's performance grade was raised from an "F" to a "B." Principal Thelma Stinson attributes the school's success to strong academic programs, a dedicated staff and a high degree of parent involvement. For more information, contact Stinson at 305-691-4973.
