FINAL WEEK OF STRATEGIC PLANNING MEETINGS AT MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Miami-Dade County Public Schools begins a final week of strategic planning meetings, with four more meetings to be held at area schools, as identified below. Each meeting runs from 7 - 9 p.m.

Mon., Sept. 29 Miami Edison Senior High School
   6161 N.W. 5 Court, Miami
   (Meeting conducted in Haitian-Creole)


Tues., Sept. 30 Miami Northwestern Senior High School
    1100 N.W. 71 Street, Miami


Wed., Oct. 1      Miami Senior High School
    2450 S.W. 1 Street, Miami
              (Meeting conducted in Spanish)


Thurs., Oct. 2    Hialeah Senior High School
    251 E. 47 Street, Hialeah
     (Meeting conducted in Spanish)

A total of 13 strategic planning meetings are being held during September and October to give citizens the opportunity to provide input on the direction of the school district. Information gathered at the meetings will be used to assess the district's goals and objectives to ensure they foster ongoing improvement in all areas &endash; schools, support services and business operations.

Citizens who cannot attend may provide input by responding to questions online at opi.dadeschools.net/community.htm.
