M-DCPS SEEKS PUBLIC INPUT FOR STRATEGIC PLANNING

Miami-Dade County Public Schools will hold a series of strategic planning meetings during September and October to give citizens the opportunity for input on the direction of the school district.

Information gathered at the meetings will be used to assess the district's goals and objectives to ensure they foster ongoing improvement in all areas &endash; schools, support services, and business offices.

"The people of Miami-Dade County are vital to the review process," Schools Superintendent Merrett R. Stierheim said. "We encourage the active participation of the community in this worthwhile endeavor."
