MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO OBSERVE AIDS
AWARENESS WEEK
November 26, 2001
Miami-Dade County Public Schools will observe its 12th
annual AIDS Awareness Week November 26-30. Although AIDS
education is taught throughout the school year, instructors
will focus many of their lessons and activities this week on
AIDS prevention. Community volunteers, including persons
living with AIDS, will provide educational lectures, and
HIV/AIDS Peer Leadership Clubs will participate in community
service activities.
