CARLOS PONCE, ED CALLE TO JOIN M-DCPS STUDENTS FOR 'WE
ARE AMERICA' CONCERT, NOV. 29

Musical artists Carlos Ponce and Ed Calle will join more
than 1,600 Miami-Dade County public school students in a
special concert titled "We Are America" on Thursday, Nov.
29, at 7 p.m. at the Jackie Gleason Theatre of the
Performing Arts, 1700 Washington Ave., Miami Beach.
The concert was planned by students following the events of
September 11th to help "celebrate the determination of the
American Spirit and our country's ability to move forward in
spite of troubled times." Radio personality Gina Martell of
Love 94-FM will emcee the show.
Tickets are $10, $15 and $20 and are available through
Ticketmaster (Dade: 305-358-5885; Broward: 954-523-3309) or
the Jackie Gleason Theatre box office. VIP tickets are $75
and include a pre-concert reception.
