M-DCPS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT NAMED 2001 WALLIS ANNENBERG SCHOLAR May 8, 2001 Felicia Prater, 16, of the Center for Legal and Public Affairs magnet at Miami Carol City Senior High School, is the only student in Miami-Dade County to be named a 2001 Wallis Annenberg Scholar by the Annenberg Foundation and the South Florida Annenberg Challenge. As a winner of this highly competitive scholarship, Ms. Prater will participate at the University of Southern California in a month-long pre-collegiate program that will feature educational seminars, cultural events and college-prep activities.
