PALM SPRINGS NORTH ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL WINS NATIONAL HONOR June 6, 2001 Dawn Hurns, principal of Palm Springs North Elementary School, has been selected as the Florida representative for the National Distinguished Principals Program. Ms. Hurns will receive the award at the Florida Association of School Administrators Conference at 3 p.m. on June 25 at the Marriott Waterside, 700 S. Florida Ave., Tampa. She will join other outstanding principals to be recognized nationally in Washington, D.C. Oct. 18-19.
