HUNDREDS OF STUDENTS TO
ATTEND MULTICULTURAL, ACADEMIC FEST

Hundreds of students from Miami-Dade County Public Schools'
District 5 will gather for a multicultural festival and
academic Olympics, Saturday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
at E.W.F. Stirrup Elementary School, 330 N.W. 97 Ave.
Based on the theme "The Many Faces of District 5 … On
the Road to Excellence," the event will involve students in
chess, dominoes, handheld computers, story-telling and other
lessons in various academic subjects. Folkloric music,
dances and a talent program will also be
showcased.
