Miami-Dade County Public Schools has been recognized for adopting the
Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's Model Code of Business
Ethics.
The code is a statement of principles to help guide decisions and
actions based on respect for the importance of ethical standards in
the community.
The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida also has spearheaded
an effort to deal with this topic by creating the Blue Ribbon
Committee on Ethics, which is in the process of deliberating the
issue of ethical behavior by school system employees and those that
do business with the school district.
