MIAMI-DADE COUNTY FAIR TO FEATURE
TALENT MAGNET PROGRAM
STUDENT PERFORMANCES

Students from Miami-Dade County Public Schools' talent magnet programs will perform at the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition, 10901 Coral Way, Saturday, March 17, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Florida International University's Werthheim Performing Arts Center Concert Hall (accessible from the fairgrounds, at the end of the Sky Glide).

Admission to the performances is free with admission to the fair. The schedule is as follows:

11 a.m.       Mays Middle School: dance chorus, orchestra and theater

Noon          Miami Northwestern Senior High PAVAC: jazz band and dancers

1 p.m.         Charles R. Drew elementary and middle schools: dance, chorus, theater and piano

2 p.m.         R.R. Moton Elementary: dance, orchestra, theater and chorus

3 p.m.         Rainbow Park Elementary: dance, band and theater

Brownsville Middle School broadcast arts students will serve as emcees. Door prizes will be given away every hour, and information regarding student auditions for talent magnet programs will be available.
