FUN WITH MATH AND SCIENCE AT THE MALLS, NOV. 17 November 9, 2001 Miami-Dade County Public Schools' Division of Mathematics and Science Education will hold "Fun with Mathematics and Science at the Mall" at 12 shopping centers across the county on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is designed to enhance community support for mathematics and science education beyond the school environment. Students and teachers from elementary, middle and senior high schools will present quality activities and projects in mathematics, science, and literature that follow the event's them, "Read, Investigate, and Calculate."
