GIANT FLAG TO BE UNFURLED AT LINDSEY HOPKINS, DEC. 5 November 27, 2001 Students and staff at Lindsey Hopkins Technical Education Center will unfurl a giant flag on the east wall of the school in observance of Remembrance Day on Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. The school is located at 750 N.W. 20 St. Measuring 30 by 20 feet, the flag was constructed by disabled students at Goodwill Industries of South Florida, Inc., in memory of people who perished in the national tragedies of Sept. 11th. The American Senior High School band and honor guard are scheduled to perform. An invocation will be offered by Dr. Robert B. Ingram, Miami-Dade School Board Member, District 1.
