GLADES MIDDLE SCHOOL RENOVATION DEDICATION: 9 A.M. WEDNESDAY, MAY 30

A ceremony dedicating a new six-classroom science building at Glades Middle School, 9451 S.W. 64th St., will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 30.

The new structure is being named for Thelma Hobbs Morgan, a teacher at the school for the past 34 years.

School officials and business and community leaders will participate in the ceremony. The construction project is part of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools' long-term building and renovation program.
