INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE DIPLOMAS AWARDED TO 65 CORAL REEF SENIOR HIGH STUDENTS

July 13, 2001

Sixty-five students from Coral Reef Senior High School will receive International Baccalaureate (IB) diplomas following the successful completion of course work and testing. This is a 44 percent increase in the number of IB diplomas awarded to Coral Reef students last year. As a result, Coral Reef will likely rank among the top 10 schools statewide for the number of IB diplomas awarded.

Students attain IB diploma status by completing a rigorous pre-university course of study and passing international examinations in six different subjects. IB diploma graduates benefit from admission to selective universities as well as advanced standing and university course credits.
