PALM SPRINGS MIDDLE SCHOOL RECEIVES TECHNOLOGY AWARDS/GRANTS

Palm Springs Middle School has recently received several national awards and grants for technology. Among the honors:

• Named among the Top 100 Wired Schools in America by Family PC Magazine

• Selected by SkillsTutor.com as Success Story

• Highlighted as Cool School Favorite for October by Gigglepotz.com

• Received a grant from Oracle Help Us Help Foundation for 50 network computers and 10 laser printers.

Additionally, Palm Springs' principal, Dr. Allan R. Bonilla and Technology Coordinator James Johnson gave a presentation titled, "Palm Springs Middle School Website: Portal to More Effective Middle level Education," at Miami-Dade County Public Schools' 9th annual Technology Conference on October 11 in Miami Beach.
