OUTSTANDING SENIOR MENTORS TO BE RECOGNIZED ON TUESDAY April 27, 2001 Outstanding Senior Mentors for Creative Students in Miami-Dade County Public Schools will be recognized in ceremonies beginning at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1 at the Radisson Mart Plaza Hotel, 711 N.W. 72 Avenue. One of the school district's Intergenerational Programs, Senior Mentors for Creative Students matches older experts in various fields with students who have been identified by their teachers as having talent in the same fields. Senior mentors work a minimum of two hours a week for six weeks to inspire and guide students in developing their talents.
