KROP SENIOR HIGH WINS NATIONAL SIEMENS AWARD

Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School recently has been named one of 12 schools in the nation to receive the prestigious 2000-2001 Siemens Award for Advanced Placement. The Siemens Foundation promotes and supports educational activities and recognizes schools that are doing the most to promote education in the core sciences. Some of the advanced placement courses include computer and environmental science, physics, and statistics.

As the winner of the Siemens Award, Krop Senior High will receive $1,000.
