Female student athletes from Miami-Dade's public schools will
celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day with South
Florida's women's professional basketball team, the Miami Sol, on
Monday, Feb. 5, from 9:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at American Airlines
Arena.
Miami Sol coaches and staff will be available to discuss the business
of professional sports and careers in athletics. Students also will
have the opportunity to sharpen their basketball skills with Sol
players at eight skill stations.
