Ambassadors of Miami-Dade County Public Schools' (M-DCPS) United Way Employee Campaign gathered at the Radisson Mart Plaza Hotel yesterday to celebrate another record year as the top contributing school district in the United States. This was the first year that M-DCPS employees surpassed $2 million in contributions.

Among achievements:

Martin Luther King Elementary School achieved status as national elementary school champion by raising $19,136.11
Eight individuals received "pillar" status for donating between $2,500 and $4,999
A record $2,002,165.28 was raised
