SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER FRANK J. COBO TO HONOR DISTRICT 7 SCHOOLS, MARCH 29 March 26, 2002 Miami-Dade School Board Member Frank J. Cobo will present 19 outstanding Miami-Dade County public schools with performance excellence awards at a ceremony at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 29, in the School Board Administration Building auditorium, 1450 N.E. Second Ave. The schools will be honored in three categories: Platinum award - schools achieving a performance grade of "A"; Gold award - schools maintaining a performance grade of "B" or improving by one performance      grade; Silver award - schools scoring exceptional gains in two of three main areas of testing.
