CELEBRATION OF READING TO BE HELD AT ERNEST R GRAHAM ELEMENTARY March 21, 2002 A colorful parade of pint-sized book characters will kick off a celebration of reading at Ernest R Graham Elementary, 7330 W. 32 Ave., Hialeah, at 9 a.m., Friday, March 22. Part of Miami-Dade County Public Schools' "Just Read!/¡A leer…se ha dicho!" campaign, the event is co-sponsored by WLTV Channel 23. After the student parade, guest readers will visit classes, books in hand, to read to the children. Among the celebrity readers are school officials; Hialeah Mayor Raúl Martínez; and Channel 23 stars Guillermo Benítez, Sandra Peebles, Aileen Cardet, and Rafael Orizondo. Concurrently, renowned authors Carlos Harrison and Grizel Paz, who penned "El arcoiris de Rubén," will conduct a workshop for parents on how to inspire their children to read more.
