MIAMI CAROL CITY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL TO BE LAUNCHED AS INTEL MODEL SCHOOL

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at Miami Carol City Senior High School at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 7 to launch the school as an Intel Model School. The school is located at 3422 N.W. 187 St., Opa-locka.

Miami Carol City Senior is one of only two schools selected nationwide for this honor and, as a result, to receive computers, an infrastructure upgrade, software and training.

The Intel Model School Program provides national models that showcase the power of technology in transforming teaching and learning. Miami Carol City Senior will serve as a model of a school with a totally wireless computer network.
