THIRTY-EIGHT M-DCPS STUDENTS NAMED NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SEMI-FINALISTS

Thirty-eight Miami-Dade County Public Schools students have been named semifinalists in the 47th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. They are among 16,000 academically talented high school seniors nationwide who will compete for some 8,000 Merit Scholarship awards this spring worth more than $32 million.

Additionally, students who are named National Merit Finalist Scholars are automatically eligible for the Florida Academic Scholars Award in the Bright Futures Scholarship Program.
