PAY-REDUCTION PLAN VIDEO SCHEDULED FOR BROADCAST
February 1, 2002
A video presentation by a coalition of labor unions
regarding the tentative agreement on a pay-reduction plan
for Miami-Dade County Public Schools employees will be
broadcast on Cable-TAP Learning Channel on Sunday, Feb. 3
at 5 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 9 p.m.
Superintendent of School Merrett R. Stierheim and United
Teachers of Dade President Pat Tornillo participated in the
program and answered questions posed by audience members to
help explain the plan to the public. The program was
moderated by WTVJ-Channel 6 Education Reporter Ed O'Dell.
