SOUTH MIAMI HIGH WINS FIRST PLACE IN TV PRODUCTION COMPETITION

Television production students in South Miami Senior High's School of the Arts Magnet program, won first place in the FAME competition sponsored by the Florida Association of Media Educators. The film, produced by Genevieve Bell, Elaine Cardoso, Christina Capon and Telsa Gomez, is titled "Directors Cut."

The School of the Arts Magnet is a total communications, performing and visual arts program. The seven strands are TV production, commercial art, photography, computer graphics, music, dance and drama.
